[漢羅] 海鷗星雲

這規片發光氣體塗粉雲，對 地球 ê 天文學家來講，看起來敢若是一隻鳥仔，所以伊才會提著這个外號，海鷗星雲。 這隻 宇宙鳥仔 ê 肖像 包括了銀河盤，闊度有 2.5 度，就 tī 天狼星 方向附近。 天狼星 是 大犬座（大隻狗星座）ê alpha 星。 是講，這區 嘛有其他目錄 ê 天體，像有名 ê NGC 2327，伊是一个實密、厚塗粉 ê 發射星雲 kah 反射星雲，內底有一粒大質量恆星，這部份就是 海鷗 ê 頭。 這規片海鷗星雲去予編做 Sh2-296 抑是 IC 2177，應該是連紲 ê 超新星爆炸 產生幾若重 大型外殼結構 ê 一部份。 Tī 中央正爿下跤 彼个顯目 ê 藍色光弧，是 ùi 大犬座 FN 星 噴出來 ê 弓形衝擊波。 這个複雜 ê 氣體塗粉雲主要是成份是發紅光 ê 水素原子。 伊 kah 大犬座 ê OB1 星協 tī 天頂佔 200 光年闊，就 tī 離咱 3800 光年遠 ê 海鷗星雲 遐。

Tī tiong-ng chiàⁿ-pêng ē-kha hit-ê hiáⁿ-ba̍k ê nâ-sek kng-hô͘, sī ùi Tāi-khián-chō FN chhiⁿ phùn--chhut-lâi ê kiong-hêng chhiong-kek-pho. Chit-ê ho̍k-cha̍p ê khì-thé thô͘-hún-hûn chú-iàu sī sêng-hūn sī hoat âng-kng ê chúi-sò͘ goân-chú. I kah Tāi-khián-chō ê OB1 seng-hia̍p tī thiⁿ-téng chiàm 200 kng-nî khoah, to̍h tī lī lán 3800 kng-nî hn̄g ê Hái-o͘-seng-hûn hiah.

Tse kui-phìnn huat-kng khì-thé thôo-hún hûn, tuì Tē-kiû ê thian-bûn ha̍k-ka lâi kóng, khuànn--khí-lâi ká-ná sī tsi̍t-tsiah tsiáu-á, sóo-í i tsiah ē the̍h-tio̍h tsit-ê guā-hō, Hái-oo-sing-hûn. Tsit tsiah ú-tiū tsiáu-á ê siàu-siōng pau-kuat liáu Gîn-hô-puânn, khuah-tōo ū 2.5 tōo, to̍h tī Thian-lông-tshenn hong-hiòng hù-kīn. Thian-lông-tshenn sī Tuā-khián-tsō (tuā-tsiah káu sing-tsō) ê alpha tshenn. Sī-kóng, tsit-khu mā ū kî-thann bo̍k-lio̍k ê thian-thé, tshiūnn ū-miâ ê NGC 2327, i sī tsi̍t-ê tsa̍t-ba̍t, kāu thôo-hún ê huat-siā sing-hûn kah huán-siā sing-hûn, lāi-té ū tsi̍t-lia̍p tuā tsit-liōng hîng-tshenn, tsit pōo-hūn to̍h-sī Hái-oo ê thâu. Tse kui-phìnn Hái-oo-sing-hûn khì hōo pian tsò Sh2-296 ia̍h-sī IC 2177, ìng-kai sī liân-suà ê tshiau-sin-sing po̍k-tsà sán-sing kuí-ā tîng tuā-hîng guā-khak kiat-kòo ê tsi̍t-pōo-hūn. Tī tiong-ng tsiànn-pîng ē-kha hit-ê hiánn-ba̍k ê nâ-sik kng-hôo, sī uì Tāi-khián-tsō FN tshinn phùn--tshut-lâi ê kiong-hîng tshiong-kik-pho. Tsit-ê ho̍k-tsa̍p ê khì-thé thôo-hún-hûn tsú-iàu sī sîng-hūn sī huat âng-kng ê tsuí-sòo guân-tsú. I kah Tāi-khián-tsō ê OB1 sing-hia̍p tī thinn-tíng tsiàm 200 kng-nî khuah, to̍h tī lī lán 3800 kng-nî hn̄g ê Hái-oo-sing-hûn hiah.

[English] The Seagull Nebula

A broad expanse of glowing gas and dust presents a bird-like visage to astronomers from planet Earth, suggesting its popular moniker: the Seagull Nebula. This portrait of the cosmic bird covers a 2.5-degree wide swath across the plane of the Milky Way, near the direction of Sirius, alpha star of the constellation of the Big Dog (Canis Major). Of course, the region includes objects with other catalog designations: notably NGC 2327, a compact, dusty emission and reflection nebula with an embedded massive star that forms the bird's head. Likely part of a larger shell structure swept up by successive supernova explosions, the broad Seagull Nebula is cataloged as Sh2-296 and IC 2177. The prominent bluish arc below and right of center is a bow shock from runaway star FN Canis Majoris. Dominated by the reddish glow of atomic hydrogen, this complex of gas and dust clouds with other stars of the Canis Majoris OB1 association spans over 200 light-years at the Seagull Nebula's estimated 3,800 light-year distance.
