活跳星系 3C 75 ê 中心是發生啥物代誌? Tī 這張 合成 ê X-光 (藍色) kah 電波 (粉紅仔色) 影像內底,彼兩粒足光 ê 天體是互踅 ê 超大質量烏洞。 In 產生 ê 能量,會予 3C 75 發出足強 ê 電波,成做一个電波源。 這兩粒 超大質量烏洞 互相 ê 距離是 2 萬 5000 光年 遠,有幾若百萬度燒 ê X-光 發射氣體踅 in 咧行,閣會噴出相對論粒子 ê 噴流。 Tī Abell 400 星系團內底有 兩个當咧合併 ê 星系,in ê 核心離咱是 3 億光年遠。 天文學家 ê 結論是講,這兩粒超大質量 烏洞 是 tī 雙星系統內底,因為引力縛做伙--ê。 有一部份 ê 理由是講,噴流一直按呢掃轉來,應該是因為 in 用一秒鐘 1200 公里緊 ê 速度迵過 高溫 ê 星系團氣體 彼陣,產生 ê 共同運動。 這款壯觀 ê 宇宙合併,去 hŏng 認為是 tī 遙遠宇宙 實櫼 ê 星系團內,足四常 ê 現象。 Tī 合併 ê 上尾階段,應該會變做 重力波 上主要 ê 來源。

[English] Two Black Holes Dancing in 3C 75
What's happening at the center of active galaxy 3C 75? The two bright sources at the center of this composite x-ray (blue)/ radio (pink) image are co-orbiting supermassive black holes powering the giant radio source 3C 75. Surrounded by multimillion degree x-ray emitting gas, and blasting out jets of relativistic particles the supermassive black holes are separated by 25,000 light-years. At the cores of two merging galaxies animations.html) in the Abell 400 galaxy cluster they are some 300 million light-years away. Astronomers conclude that these two supermassive black holes are bound together by gravity in a binary system in part because the jets' consistent swept back appearance is most likely due to their common motion as they speed through the hot cluster gas at about 1200 kilometers per second. Such spectacular cosmic mergers are thought to be common in crowded galaxy cluster environments in the distant universe. In their final stages, the mergers are expected to be intense sources of gravitational waves.
