環形星系 (M57) 比你 ùi 細台望遠鏡看著 ê 閣較複雜。 上明顯 ê 中央環 差不多有 1 光年 闊。 毋閣這張 足長時間感光 ê 影像，是 ùi 三台無仝 ê 大型望遠鏡影像資料組合–起來 ê，欲 探索 離 星雲 中央 ê 恆星足遠 ê 發光氣體 ê 環形雲絲。 這个 組合影像 有 ùi 酸素發–出 ê 紅光，tī 可見光 kah 紅外線 攏有。 這个環形星雲是搝長 ê 行星形星雲，是像 太陽 ê 恆星 tī 演化過程 kā 外層大氣擲–出去，落尾變做 白矮星。 這个 環形星雲 離咱 2500 光年遠，to̍h tī 音樂星座 天琴座 遐。

Khoân-hêng-seng-hûn (M-gō͘-cha̍p-chhit) pí lí ùi sè-tâi bōng-oán-kiàⁿ khòaⁿ-tio̍h ê koh-khah hop-cha̍p. Siōng bêng-hián ê tiong-ng-khoân chha-put-to ū chi̍t kng-nî khoah. M̄-koh chit-tiuⁿ chiok tn̂g-sî-kan kám-kng ê iáⁿ-siōng, sī ùi saⁿ-tâi bô-kâng ê tōa-hêng bōng-oán-kiàⁿ iáⁿ-siōng chu-liāu cho͘-ha̍p–khí-lâi-ê, beh thàm-soh lî seng-hûn tiong-ng ê hêng-chhiⁿ chiok-hn̄g ê hoat-kng khì-thé ê khoân-hêng hûn-si. Chit-ê cho͘-ha̍p iáⁿ-siōng ū ùi sng-sò͘ hoat–chhut ê âng-kng, tī khó-kiàn-kng kah âng-gōa-sòaⁿ lóng ū. Chit-ê Khoân-hêng-seng-hûn sī giú-tn̄g ê kiâⁿ-chhiⁿ-hêng-seng-hûn, sī chhiūⁿ thài-iông ê hêng-chhiⁿ tī ián-hòa-kòe-têng kā gōa-chàn tōa-khì tàn–chhut-khì, lo̍h-bóe piàn-chò pe̍h-é-chhiⁿ. M̄-koh tsit-tiunn tsiok tn̂g-sî-kan kám-kng ê iánn-siōng, sī uì sann-tâi bô-kâng ê tuā-hîng bōng-uán-kiànn iánn-siōng tsu-liāu tsoo-ha̍p–khí-lâi-ê, beh thàm-soh lî sing-hûn tiong-ng ê hîng-tshinn tsiok-hn̄g ê huat-kng khì-thé ê khuân-hîng hûn-si. [English] Rings Around the Ring Nebula

The Ring Nebula (M57), is more complicated than it appears through a small telescope. The easily visible central ring is about one light-year across, but this remarkably deep exposure - a collaborative effort combining data from three different large telescopes - explores the looping filaments of glowing gas extending much farther from the nebula’s central star. This composite image includes red light emitted by hydrogen as well as visible and infrared light. The Ring Nebula is an elongated planetary nebula, a type of nebula created when a Sun-like star evolves to throw off its outer atmosphere to become a white dwarf star. The Ring Nebula is about 2,500 light-years away toward the musical constellation Lyra.
